Specialties include loan review, due diligence, workout, expert witness, regulatory repair, commercial lending. He holds a MBA from Columbia University with majors in International Business and Real Estate, and a BBA from University of Cincinnati with major in Finance. He has post-graduate study at Dartmouth College and University of Virginia Business Schools. He has been President and CEO of three Chicago area banks/thrifts, and prior to that was Vice President of The Northern Trust Company in commercial lending and management.
James A. Prescott-Smith, Managing Director
James has 35 years experience in commercial and private banking, bank and risk management, commercial real estate portfolio management, loan review, capital markets, cash management, and loan workouts. He holds a MBA degree from University of Michigan and a BA from College of Wooster, Ohio. He has completed post-graduate work at Arizona State University. He was Vice President of First National Bank of Chicago, and J. P. Morgan Chase.
Quentin C. Johnson, Managing Director
Quent served for 35 years with Northern Trust Corporation, most recently as Chairman & CEO of Northern Trust Bank of Arizona. He was CFO of the Personal Financial Services Group with a budget of over $1 Billion. He also served as President of Norlease, Inc. and Division Manager in the Commercial Lending Group. He holds a BS from the United States Naval Academy, and a MBA from Harvard University.
James M. Wilber, Managing Director
Jim has 35 years experience in commercial banking, working in various positions for Banco Popular, United Central Bank, Fifth Third Bank, Northern Trust Bank, and others. He holds a MBA from University of Michigan, and BA from Central Michigan University.
Emil J. Schubert, Managing Director
Emil has 43 years in banking, most recently as Vice President of Chase Bank, Sedona, Arizona. He served in Chicago as Senior Vice President and Chief Credit Officer of Old Kent Bank (now Fifth Third) with responsibilities for a $2.2 Billion commercial portfolio at a 1-rated CAMEL bank. He also was Vice President and Group Manager with LaSalle National Bank. He holds a MBA from University of Chicago and BA from University of Notre Dame..
Frederick C. Stewart, Managing Director
Fred served 35 years with The Northern Trust Company as Senior Vice President and Chief Credit Officer of the Middle Market Group. He previously managed the commercial real estate portfolio and last position was to implement credit risk standards in compliance with Basel II. He has a MBA from Loyola University and BA from Colgate University.
